#18 for the undefeated grasscour... :sport:

OH WAIT... a wild Djokovic appears

I was afraid Nole would collapse after the 2nd, luckily it wasn't the case, he stayed strong

That was relentless excellence and intensity from Djokovic. Superb. And fully earned third -- yes, third -- win at Wimbledon.

Meanwhile I must, again, express my doubts about the 97-frame for Federer's game. He was unable to really knife and nuance anything -- Nole enjoying his slice on grass is a bad sign -- and I cringed each time he went to a topspin backhand that will never begin to advantage him in rallies against Nole. Placement and precision were not top-notch on most strokes. How could it be when having to come round the ball with that clunker. Against Djokovic he loses much while gaining just the security of fewer mishits. Back down to 90 or 93 please.

And once again: Congrats to Novak! One has to simply :worship: his high level play.

Aside from the second set tiebreaker, Djokovic was too good. Maybe it could have been a different match if Federer had held serve after breaking in the first set, but Djokovic's level was amazing after he faced those set points on his serve in the first set. He was getting to everything and seemed to hit the line on every important point.

Boring tennis wins. Well done Novak, just too good.

Federer bottled it. Looked nervous at the start and never really recovered from that disastrous service game at 4*-2 in the first set.

Congrats to Nole :hatoff:

It's a bit surreal that Anderson is the one that gave him most trouble, by far.

One question before match was: if Federer will be able to dominate this match with his serve as he did against Murray. Given what numbers are showing and final outcome, the answer is: NO.

It's hard to repeat such a serving performance, but also Djokovic deserves credit for his work on return.

Fed looked slighly better on the beginning, tried to stay as much as possibly close to the baseline and dictate, even despite's Novak aggression, he was successful with it. Bizarre game by Novak brought break for Fed, but he couldn't confirm it - two really bad volleys definitely had something to do with, although on second one Novak proved himself with great pass. In first set tie break Fed's 1st serve betrayed him and he lost it easily. Novak was clutch though with saving set points.

Second set quite calm, I would say, both were holding comfortably, Fed's serving percentage rised, in this set he saved SP this time. Really sloppy tie break, but Djokovic had 6-3 lead, at 6-5 choose wrong direction of easy point and he lost his MB advantage. Had another chance with serving for set at 10-9, lost 10-12 tie break. He really made a mess from it and Fed had momentum on his side.

It didn't last too long though, Djokovic started really aggressive, had BPs in first two Roger's service games, and Fed helped him with hilarious easy forehand miss. His forehand was BAD. Unreliable. About 20 forehand unforced errors from this wing. Two games more and rain came, so there was a delay for closing a roof.
Under roof, apart from first Novak's hold, both were winning their service games to love, so it ended with Novak's win.

Federer looked kinda faded for me, again Novak proved his advantage in this match with break, had a chance even for double one, but Federer stayed alive. In following game little opening after 0-30, but again, errors and good serving from Novak allowed him to hold.

Better played won. Despite one hiccup Novak was more clutch, more reliable player and didn't make many cheap errors. Congrats to Novak fans, 3 Wimbledon titles is an amazing achievement, but also he joins to elite group of those ones who defend it. Hats off. :hatoff: :hatoff:

Roger has been so unlucky with the draws. The semifinal match has cost all of him.

Get fucking rekt Olderer.

Tennis was salvaged, thank you king Nole, we are not worthy.

Should've been straight sets if he didn't choke 7 (seven) set points.

Oh well, good job king Nole!
