They haven't won points in months, so a QF would be very important now. Good that both are in the same half in singles, and Petzschner is losing in the first round 95%, so they are not without a chance in doubles.

All 1st round Men's Doubles matches at #wimbledon today are 3 set matches instead of 5 due to the bad weather. Rain expected today.

Not best of five today for doubles ?

That was a dream draw for Cerretani/Marx vs Ratiwatana/Ratiwatana. Marx is really good in first round matches of Slams, lost only 1 of 8. :yeah:

Yeah I saw this too the other day. I don't understand the reason why they made a decision like this.. even the last year in Wimbledon every double match was best of five starting from the first turn, I know that rain is plaguing the courts this week but come on, with all the time and all the courts they have it's not a great decision to me.. it's always a Grand Slam tournament.. at least starting from the second turn they are playing best of five..

The schedule is still crazy. Melzer and Petzchner have not finished their 2nd round while some guys are already in quarters  With rain and the late for on the rounds of defending champions not sure final will be played on saturday

i feel so sorry for philipp/jurgen

here they are the defending champions and thanks to the pathetic scehduling from these complete idiots they havent even finished their 2nd round match and yet every other team is playing or finished a 3rd round infact lindstedt/tecau and clement/dlouhy are playing a QF

thats just pathetic that the defending champions are being treated like this

They basically have to win a GS with one week of play :worship: That's some scheduling. If they win the title again they really should send a big "Fuck You!" to the organisers, looking good at the moment though, they need to finish this in straights.
