With that reasoning Roddick has won 5 titles on clay I want him classified as a clauycourt player.
he has played close to half his tourneys on clay, and had his best results there, what more of a case do i need to build?

Well I am not the judge here and senior main level events should take priority over any challengers.

If you are serious then Feli Lopez shouldn't be on the list.

Brother I'll look through the draw and being someone that hates grass and loves clay, do you want a hand?

OK, so the definition of claycourter is at one's individual discretion, but Berdych??!! Don't let that one title in Palermo last year fool you, he's won three matches on the surface this year. His game is much more suited to grass, so it wouldn't be a great surprise if he did well here.
I was gonna say the exact same thing. Berdych has won a grand total of 4 matches on clay this year, two of which were against Llodra and Morrison, whom even I could beat on clay!!

This thread is too funny, Gasquet as a claycourter :haha: He just won a grass tournament, his first tournament at ATP level and he qualifies as a claycourter.

Here's my list:

1. S. Grosjean (took a set of Nadal at the French)
2. M. Mirnyi (reached qf at Barcelona beating Moya)
3. R. Federer (won 3 clay AMS events in his career)
4. A. Roddick (5 clay titles, need I say more)
5. G. Rusedski (won a match on clay this year!!!)

congrats Cervantes, you are obviously one of the wittiest people on MTF.

If Berdych's preferred main (excluding carpet) surface isn't clay, then what is it? grass - he's hardly played on it, hardcourt - look at all his excellent results on it  .

And just because someone wins 1 title on a particular surface, doesn't make them a specialist on it... is Agassi a grass or clay courter because he won Wimbledon and RG?

lol, you probably should have listed all the claycourters in your first thread to avoid any confusion

Well I picked Gasquet on my team before he had won his tournament... so if he's not going to count I'll just replace him with Wawrinka.
