Points:
Rankings points are based on points after taking out points from Halle, Queens, Netherlands and Eastbourne.
Add 100% points earned for all grass court tournaments in the past 12 months
add 75% points earned for best grass court tournament in the 12 months before that.

You seem to be working under the assumption that Eastbourne and 's-Hertogenbosch count for the previous 12 months, but with seeding taking place a week later this year, they would seem to fall outside that window. Is there official word on this?

First Grand Slam Nadal might be seeded outside the top ten since...?

He's never been seeded outside the top 10. He was unseeded in the 2005 Australian Open, but then seeded 4th for RG.

I had no idea they still use this, to be honest.

To promote grass tournaments. This year we have 2 ATP 500 compared with zero last year and extra week of grass season overall

Will Murray be 2nd Seed for Wimbledon?

Considering Wimbledon does their own grass point rankings surely Murray deserves the No. 2 seed over Federer considering how Murray is considered the favourite or second favourite for the title.

If Murray wins Queens he'll probably be guaranteed the No. 2 seed.

Federer will likely lose his No. 2 rank to Murray after Wimbledon after his R2 or R3 exit like two years ago.

Based on the merged OP (as this topic also is about Wimbledon seedings) Murray is already confirmed for 3rd Seed and can't change.

No, they actually have a formula. I believe this has been discussed to death.

Federer got to the final last year compared to Murray's QF exit - so that gives him the advantage in the grass-court formula Wimbledon use.

I doubt he'll be losing in R2 or R3 either - the netplay game he's developed under Stefan Edberg is perfect for grass. I'd be surprised if he loses early here.

Federer's results on grass last year were much better than Murray's last year, so that's not gonna happen, as it gives Fed the edge. Federer will be the #2 seed.
