The first set of the Stan Wawrinka v Feliciano Lopez round of 16 match saw the 100th tie-break of the men's tournament at Wimbledon 2014. This is the first time in history that the number of tie-breaks at a Grand Slam has reached triple figures in either the men's or the women's event.

And there's still three rounds left to play...

I have easy explanation for this:D, Isner, Raonic have best Wimbledon runs so far:D - more tie-breaks:D, Lopez to had play like 2/3 of all sets in tie-breaks

Just kidding, Milos actually won most sets by breaks, i have no explanation just it happened - there were many tie-breaks between many players, even 2 clay-courters vs each other can play 2 tie-braeks so don´t know really how to explain this

Yeah. Courts could still be speeded up too.

Time to slow down the courts, it's getting out of hand.

It's too bad Raonic has been so good at returning in this event, he could have added way more than just 3 tiebreaks
