Hi guys,

I am a Fed fan, but I was truly impressed by Nole's performance today: everybody here knows about the fighting spirit of Nadal, but Djokovic seems to have surpassed it by far. Down 4-2 in the fifth and struggling because of tiredness (he could barely move) he fought his way back and stunned Nadal winning that fifth set 7-5. Two days before he was 5-5 *15-40 in the fifth against Murray and battled back to win. Now he's won the last 7 finals against Nadal (including last three grand slam finals).

So the question is: is Nole the ultimate example of a true Spartan warrior legend?

I think he is.

Well I'm pretty sure Spartan warriors never showed weakness. So no he doesn't qualify with all his bending over to catch his breathe and such 24/7.

In the sense that he has slaves and engages in pederasty?

No, in the sense that he never retreats or surrenders, and he has fighting skills never seen before.

Before 300 what did people say and do  From a quitter to a world renowned world beater/fighter. How times have changed, for the better I must say.

Puh-lease! He hasn't pulled off marathons like twenty straight times yet.
