Kei has titles from indoor+outdoor HC and clay (actually 500s on all three), so grass is his only surface without a title.

I think he needs to improve to win one. I believe he could win some of the weaker grass events but a player of his calibre should play only the stronger events of Halle/Queen's Club and Wimby. I'm afraid there will always be too good grass-courters for Kei, grass isn't his best surface. But if he can improve, he can become the Wimbledon champion. Wimbledon plays like a medium-fast HC, and Kei's had good results on that surface, Tokyo 500 title and Shanghai M1000 SF.

Grass can actually be a good surface for nishikori, short compact swings, and can generate pace off low balls. He should make some decent runs this year if he stays healthy.
