The only thing holding him back is an extra upgrade for patch BO5 for clayray.
His recent matches against Novak show he can keep up for a bit but cannot last the distance - Miami was particularly telling for a BO3 affair, and hot conditions which Novak hates as well. But now he's got clay title hoodoo out of the way, perhaps he'll be working on that.
Still RG surface is a lot different from Madrid but his current form has been impressive. Still it will be a test of endurance for him. Novak won't let him have any ground easily.
Just a strange thought- if he did win it, he'd be 1/1 RG finals, 1/2 in Wimby finals, 1/2 in USO finals and 0/4 in AO finals! Most finals at the AO of them all, but that one missing from his portfolio. :lol:
