This would have to be the best shot Robbie has at making the final 4 at a slam so far in his career.

It is also by far the easiest section in the draw, considering how the seeds have fared.

#4 - Roddick: lost to Muller.
#8 - Coria: through to 3rd round, but not the biggest threat on this surface.
#10 - Puerta: lost to Wawrinka.
#13 - Gasquet: struggled 1st round, but through to the 3rd nonetheless.
#18 - Ljubicic: poor slam record, but can be a threat to anyone on his day.
#23 - Novak: withdrew due to injury.
#26 - Lopez: lost to Soderling.
#29 - Haas: Ginepri's next round opponent, who will probably be his toughest test.

I hope that Haas will beat him. But if Robbie can get past Tommy, I can't see anyone stopping him.
If Haas plays like the last 2 (esp. the 3rd) sets against Schuettler, Genepri will have a real tough fight...saying that, I still think he could make it!

Ginepri has had a very good summer but let us not forget that we have no idea how he plays in a GS against quality players. His history alone should leave no doubt that he will lose to Haas but his current form is more important and he has the potential to upset Haas if his form holds true.

If he gets into the QF,the mental part of his game will become more important than the physical part and that is where the question mark is based on past performances.

I like his chances definitly but...I don't know. I mean if Robby plays the way he has been playing to make the semis of a masters, winning indy...I think he has a good shot. If the Robby of old comes out and starts playing like a tard bag...than I don't think so.
