He would have to win six or more matches to the end of the season, and not lose any. That's tough to achieve, if he plays as scheduled.

If he wants to & picks his events to do so rather than just showing up 'cuz it's on schedule, no matter how tired he is, as he did w/MC. If he really plays Madrid, Paris, Basel & China, that's a ridiculous wipe out schedule & anything could happen.

Nope, he can't now. Best he can do is match it, if he wins the TMC undefeated. If he's fit for it.
First wait for Paris... If he's fit enough to play he can break McE's record !!

But that kind of record doesn't matter, what we want is that he recovers ASAP !!

When he wins Rolland Garros next year he will win the grandslam of tennis (all 4 majors in one year) because he will win the Aussie open with ease, its too obvious... He will probably enter 2006 with his best tennis

He won't break it this year. McEnroe was 84-3 wasn't he? Rogi is currently 77-3. I don't see him playing before Shanghai so at best he can end the year with a record of 82-3 just one short of McEnroe's :crying:
