Will fatigue affect Federer at TMC?

Playing 3 weeks of non-stop tennis, in 3 different countries and then flying to Shanghai and expected to bring your best isnt easy even if you are #1

Having played less than 15 tournaments the entire year and taken frequent month-long breaks, fatigue is the last thing Federer should be complaining about. He has the option to withdraw from Paris if he so desires, as he has already played 8 out of the 9 required Masters events and if he doesn't, then he probably figures it won't affect his TMC preparation. It's not as if any of his matches are particularly energy-draining.
Personally i think he shouldnt of played basel even if you didnt want to let down your home fans

He should play Basel the next 5 years...
fatigue with 2 weeks off??? you gotta be joking

Since Basel is probably far more important to him than Paris, this isn't an option.
If he shows fatigue despite having a week to rest or train lightly or whatever his regime is then he is not in the shape that should be expected of him.
