"Will Santoro be able to win a big tournament after he retires?"

That's almost as good as "Where can I buy a western grip?"

BUENO CHE!!! BEFORE HE RETIRES... FORGIVE ME FOR MY BAD ENGLISH!!!
And the objective of the thread is not if he will win but if he deseaves to win
Why would he deserve to win? If he had the game, he would have won it already. Ot at least made a couple of good attempts. He has had a long career and an interesting style of play but that doesn't mean that he should win a GS.

It's like Edberg against Chang n 1989. I would have liked to see him winning. But no, he didn't deserve to win that match.
