My predictions:

WC:
1) Evans
2) J. Ward
3) Cox
4) Smethurst
5) Edmund

these are pretty much locked, unless the LTA/AELTC decide to do something silly. Now it gets interesting. If they decide to be stingy and stick to their 250/promising youth ranking guidelines that's gonna be it. Any further wildcards for Brits will be Qualifying WC's.

I can't think who would get the last 3 WC's, maybe Darcis because of last lear if he's fit. If they can't think of anyone more deserving there might be a little treat for the winners of the Nottingham Challengers :)

QWC:
1) Rice
2) Willis
3) Golding
4) A Ward
5)
6)
7)
8)
9) Junior Wimbledon champ 2013?

Alex Ward has had injuries but is back and if fully fit should get a wildcard to qualifying (getting closer to his career high would help). The other names are at, or very close to career highs. Everyone else will have to go through the playoff.

Golding might be in with a shot at a MD WC. He has been on a tear since the end of last year and got a WC in 2012 when he deserved it much less (and he was very competitive against Andreev).

I'd still expect him to come through qualifying given his resurgence of late. Wouldn't be totally downbeat GMG

I think Broady and Bambridge and maybe even Norrie should be considered for QWC.

Alex Ward is 24 years old and was never top 300. Think that could work against him.

Broady and Bambridge
Not playing the grass court season. I hear they are going to the USA instead

Decent shout but since he is going off to college in the autumn I bet they make him go through the playoffs.

He was getting there until he got injured and missed 4 months out. Since then he's reached 3 Futures finals (winning 1). I won't be surprised if they make him go through the playoffs but personally I think he's done enough.

Yeah, and I wouldn't hate it. It's just that he's behind the first 5 names I gave.............

And then Golding gets destroyed by Kubler :tape: He needs to do well these weeks to improve his ranking and get the AELTC's attention.

If Muller wins Nottingham (first or second week), will they consider giving him another WC after ....dont remember that year, 2-3 years ago when he got one

Definitely. Absent sufficient British candidates, those who do well in Nottingham have been getting one the last few years.

How do you rate these non-British players´ chances for a wildcard?

Nielsen (won doubles with a brit in 2012)
Bagdhatis (former semifinalist, attraction)
Llodra (serve-and-volley player but not very successful at SW19)
Muller (rising star)
Darcis (legend since 2013)
Johnny Groove (for the ladies)
