The only thing stopping him from winning on grass is his awful return and low percentage first serve.

When receiving, Wawrinka typically makes no attempt to guess where the ball might be going and start moving about the service line like Djokovic or even Murray. He stays fixed where he is as if prostrated, and it's not until the ball has bounced that he makes a lunge, a terrible idea since typically he's too far away from the ball, he's not really prepared his racket motion and can't strike it but only chip it in, and hence why it falls short and he's in trouble. This means some guys relying on serve wind up looking good against him when in fact they're rather mediocre. He has to work on that issue. If he can do it by wimby he might just be the surprise win. That said, I see nothing indicating that'd be the case since Norman had 2 years to sort this issue.. and hasnt!
