Roddick and Hewitt had a lot more points to defend and they failed to do so.
Safin went from a first round loss to a pullout. -5 points.
Hewitt went from a final to a semifinal. -250 points.
Roddick went from a quarterfinal to a first round exit. -245 points.

OK thanks, I didn't think Hewitt would lose so many points from not reaching the finals. G. W. Hitler I didn't see the other thread. I hope Marat will maintain this ranks but it's gonna be tough...

It's not because someone misses a tournament he can't have a high ranking. He won Aus open = 1000 points and Madrid and Paris each 500 points!
