He's only been bageled 4 times in his professional career, 3x in 1999, and 1x in 2008 FO F against Rafa...

My question is, why is it so hard to bagel Rogie??

Compared to Rafa and Djokovic, he's been bageled way less times...

Is it his serve that gets him out of trouble or what??

Federer has top 5 serves of all time.

Pretty hard to bagel him.

Mainly due to his strong serve +1 combo that he can employ far better than Dull and Djokovic. Also his clutch serving which saves his ass quite a lot. Kind of like a .75 Sampras when it comes to that.

a) He's extremely resilient, even when things aren't going his way.

b) Variety. If plan A doesn't work against an opponent, then he has plans B, C, D, E ... Z.

c) Serve.

Isner only been bageled once, the match after the marathon at Wimbledon in 2010.
Karlovic only been bageled 3 times.

So the main reason is obviously the serve as to why it's difficult to bagel Federer. Very difficult to bagel all servebots

Except Isner is 6'10" and Karlovic is 6"11'.

They are typical servebots.

Federer is 6"1'. To call him a servebot is ignorant, and not just of tennis, but of basic geometry.

Federer's serve isn't nearly as good as Isner or Karlovic's, but that does not mean he is not a "servebot". He is a "lesser servebot", which is still a "servebot". Even the "weaker ball-bashers" are still "ball-bashers".

Right, he's only a "lesser servebot" but his serve is nonetheless the ONLY/OVERWHELMING reason for the very few bagels he has received.

Like, that's totally logical and stuff.
