He was in tennis since he was born (all family involved in this sport) but he even haven't 4R on GS and zero titles.

And I can't say he have low IQ a he supergood in doubles. Good serve, good height and nice body.

Mentality or he just have some ceiling?

Since Tennis came back he has lost only twice to a non-seed. Sinner and Albot so he has had some good consistancy but a bit of tough luck with the draaws.

No weapons, doesn’t take enough risks.....but he should go into the gay porn industry. He would have a lot of “grand slams” there

He doesnt really have any big shots. His serve is very odd for a double expert.

Poor movement + no big weapon + poor mentality.

But he’s a very good server and great at the net which is what makes him a great doubles player where movement is less of an issue and net game is crucial.

He's the best doubles specialist in singles ranking, does that sound like an achievement to you? Who among other double specialists qualify to Masters singles main draws pretty regularly?

No shame in being a top doubles competitor but average in singles esp. if he finds success w/ different partners. He simply realizes where his bread is buttered.

Well, he probably lacks a bit of everything to achieve big results in singles.
He's ok on every possible tennis skill, but not really excellent for any of them, except obviously at the net.

That should be enough to have better results on grass, though, like Mahut had (4 ATP titles + MP at a Queens final + wins against Nadal and Murray). But for some reason, it doesn't work for him.

Also, maybe playing so much in doubles did harm his singles career. We are not in the 80s any more, you can't chase everything.
He did stop playing doubles during a few months in 2019, and resumed to have one last shot with Mahut at the olympics, but I can't see them continuing after that, as they won pretty much everything else already
