Hi!
I'm new here and I must say that posters on this board are well informed and fun!
I would like to know your opinion, among the ATP players whose groundstokes would like to have as part of your game (if you're a tennis player)?
Thanks!

I am a player, and I wish the balls came off my Babolat Pure Drive strings the way they do off Carlos Moya's Prue Drive.......hehehehe.

I really like the look of effortless type power he produces.

I'm with hitman on Ferrero's forehand and Guga's back hand :)

However if I can only pick on player I think I would go with Hewitt.

Frankly I think Safin at his best, has nice groundstrokes - more powerful..

BUt Hewitt is more consistent, he rarely misses, no matter how high the stakes are.

ON a bad day Ferrero tends to shank his forehand, and esp. backhand more though.

Hewitt is more consistent, IMO, even when under a good deal of pressure.

Though Ferrero is more powerful, esp on the forehand side.

Finally somebody who dislikes El Aynaoui as much as I do. Everybody is saying how likable he is and he is doing soooo well this year. I can't stand the poor guy and wish he didn't exist.

Hey, Younes! Stay away from Ferrero or I'll kick your ass! :D

Federer's groundstrokes are beautiful, when he's in the groove. A killer forehand and a beautiful backhand...

Since i'm a small woman but enjoy playing the game, i WISH i had Justine Henin's groundstrokes, especially that backhand. Man, she may be not huge compared to the others but she's got power and plays beautiful tennis. (sigh!)

Safin has great groundstrokes too, but so does Hewitt, Agassi, Ferrero, and ...Youzhny.;)

i patterned my game after Steffi Graf which means that for years i had a forehand that popped and i sliced the backhand. then Hingis came along and she became my new role model -- so now i have a two-handed backhand and i can still pop 'em on the forehand. but if i had to switch to a guy role model, i'd go for Guga's or Moya's games. they both have complete, all-round, all-surface games, altho' Guga's backhand is just awesome and Moya's forehand is almost as good as mine...
