Obviously if you consider all time it's a no contest but since 2011..Nadal and Novak have won 4 RGs an 4 AOs respectively.

Nole at AO. Hard courts competition is tougher.

Rafa hasn't lost at Roland Garros since 2011.
Novak has lost at the Australian Open since 2011.

Whose domination has been greater? Rafa's, obviously.

4 out of 4 is better than 4 out of 5, obviously. But if Nadal doesn't win RG this year it's Djokovic because HC competitions is far higher than clay.

Little unfortunate timing with this question. We still don't know RG2015 result. :p :p

Interesting that you refer to yourself in the third person, small correction was needed though.

As a tennis expert I will wait after FO to give a fair judgement.

nah, the speed of the Australian Open is slow enough that it is quite accessible to all sort of players and frankly dedicated HC specialists (those who prefer medium/fast speeds) don't like the AO pace very much

I think Agassi (as much as I love him) showed that the Australian Open is that oddball Grand Slam that is arguably easier to defend than the others. all you need is a player who takes the off season especially serious, doesn't need a lot of confidence/practice to get into form, likes slow HC, and BAM a lot of the rusty players in January get man handled by them. not to say Djokovic's Australian Open consistency isn't mega impressive, it's just that Roland Garros is so grindy and like a marathon. the reality is that players mid season are going to be a lot more 'warmed up' so to speak and in better form than they would be in January (generally speaking)

Wouldn't it make more sense to compare Nadal since 2009 to Djokovic since 2011? Each has lost one match there.

If Rafa loses RG this year, they would be the same.

And AO doesnt have much competition either.. there are far more players who would feel comfortable in faster HC... like murray, wawrinka, delpotro, tsonga and the servebots..

Plexicushion fits djokovic game perfectly.. so he doesnt have much competition there...
