One thing's for sure, only the trolls will pick Robby Ginepri for this. Sock, Johnson and Klahn are also in the same Nadal quarter, but Klahn is in the most favorable position being farthest away from Nadal.

Donald Young is the only American in the Stan's quarter, but this is clay where he can still lose to anyone. It's not a given he beats Sela, let alone beat the Lopez-Q winner to get to Stan.

John Isner and Sam Querrey are in the Fed Quarter. Sam kicks off the American FO tommorow, and while he could win that match, his form has been so poor that he can fall out of the Top 100 by the US Open. John Isner is the top American and he actually has a good paper draw. However this being clay hurts his chances, but he gets to a QF, who knows.

Michael Russell is the only American in Djokovic's quarter. The oldest American and not far from that in Paris. He can win a match there, but if not Simon, Raonic will put an end to him.

FYI In the Australian Open, Sam Querrey and Donald Young were the last Americans with their 3rd round showigs.

should be Isner. He could lose early, but I don`t see anyone else making even round 3

well probably isner

conceivably young could make the QF round here. he should beat sela, he could beat lopez/dzumhur in the second round and he's beaten wawrinka before. he hasn't been that bad this season and wawrinka has had moments where he looks like he could lose to anyone. and then you have the 4th round where, you really don't know who will be there because of monfils's health issues coming in and fognini..well enough said there.

Probably Isner, but he's always very tough to predict in slams. He can either advance to QF or lose in the R1/R2 already. It will probably depends how fast he can finish early matches, in order to be fresher for the next round.

I think he'll reach the R16 and lose to Berdych.Btw, he's the only american with a good chance of reaching R3.

Young also with a small chance because his draw is weak (Lopez the seeded guy and he's not very good on clay).

Ginepri. After his shock defeat of the eight-time champion Nadal, Robby will go on a tear that will see him into the 2nd week to the disgust of his many critics
