Interesting rivalry so far, with Raonic ahead 4-2. No results on grass, but 3-2 on Hard. Apparently this was Raonic's breakthrough tournament so do you think he would have won and why?

IMO:

In 2012 - Murray in 3.
In 2013 - Murray in 4.
In 2014 - Murray in 5.

And an additional question: Would either have beaten Nadal in 2014?

Something went teribly wrong in Murray's camp before the match against Dimitrov. He was superb until then, but then he just gifted the win to Dimitrov. He looked totally disinterested.
If Murray would have played like he did in the first rounds he would have routined Raonic in the final. If he played like he did against Dimitrov he would have lost in 3 to Raonic too.

If they played Rafa in the FINAL I think none of them would have had a chance at winning. Rafa seems to read Raonic's serve quite well, while Murray respects him a bit too much.

Why are we comparing Murray and Raonic?
One is a multiple slam champion, 7 time finalist, 9 time masters one thousand champion, all achieved in the strongest era of all time. The other is a servebot who has done nothing of note.

Of course Murray would win. He is still the top grass courter in the world, one off day doesn't change that. Raonic is just a servebot who took advantage of one of the luckiest draws ever seen at a slam before getting routined by the first proper player he faced.

Probably Murray in 3, similar scoreline as Federer vs. Raonic SF.

Raonic isn't very good on grass. He reached the semifinals with an easy draw. The toughest opponent was Nishikori and he was a bit injury (as usual) and the grass isn't his best surface too.

Not 100% sure Murray would've beaten Nadal, because he has a mental block against him. But this bad version of Nadal on grass is pretty beatable, even by Raonic.

Just excuses. Murray looked great against the likes of Goffin and Rola. Easy matches.
Anderson already troubled him a bit on R4, but lost in 3. And Anderson is a better grass courter than Raonic. Dimitrov is just a better player than Murray these days. His ranking says that and both matches they've played this year says that.

'Normal' Murray would have won fairly comfortably. The Murray who showed up against Dimitrov would have lost to any top 50 player.

Murphy if trained well by Mauresmo. Raonic is a serve bot. He moves like a robot, only humans win Slams. I'm sorry to tell you that.

Maybe not Top 50 because I feel other players around the bottom tier would make a lot more UEs than Murray. I think Top 15 would be more appropriate, IMO. So many errors from Murray that are rarely seen during the tournament. That being said Dimitrov did play well.

Murray owned Raonic in their only slam meeting, and as long as he was in form he would have done the same in Wimbledon Final.

Raonic would have won 6-2, 6-1, 6-2. Murray could barely get the ball over the net in his Wimbledon Quarter-Final, it's obvious he's finished as a contender for slams and will go down meekly to any half decent player in the top 15.
