Federer against Nadal or Sinner against Alcaraz?

I'm not counting Djokovic- Federer since the latter had to decline and become old for their careers to overlap. But, this can be discussed as a comparison to the Sincaraz rivalry.

Djokodal H2H was always too close and matches competitive so it's a non factor.

You can't even call Sinner/Alcaraz a "rivalry" its been a one sided beatdown for 2-3 years basically and especially the last 2 season its been ALL Carlos except for Wimbledon this year. Alcaraz has completely dismantled/exposed him outside of Wimbledon this year. Fed kept his hardcourt slams protected from 05-08 and took out Nadal back to back at Wimbledon in 06/07. If Carlos takes the AO, i would say its pretty much over for Sinner

Fedal was a lop sided rivalry from 2008 to 2016 until Federer ran riot in 2017. Only counting their good years (2008-2019 minus 2013 and 2015), their h2h stands 11-9 in favor of Nadal and that is not one-sided at all. The overall h2h is somewhat one-sided (24-16).

The Sincaraz rivalry is still young and both players have long careers ahead of them. Currently, Alcaraz leads 7-1 (since 2024 when they both primed) and Sinner will have to win a lot to make it competitive. The overall h2h is 9-5 and percentage wise, this is worse when compared to Fedal.

For now, Fedal is the more competitive of the two rivalries.
