Had quite a similar singles career, both made an early and unexpected AO final in 2001 and 2003, both won 4 titles, both finished with under 50% W-L record, both had a long career and suddenly fought for the place in the Wimbledon-2008 SF.
Rainer had a more consistent prime year and Arnaud was a better DC player.

Thoughts?

The first thought that comes to mind when I think of Clement is this... :lol:


Clement had a better feel for the ball, but Schuettler was more difficult to penetrate. Clement's height certainly wasn't favourable.

Schuettler made TMC in 2003 and reached the SF. So IMO he has the edge there. But Clement has a much better doubles career.

Clement overall for me. Schuettler had a stronger peak year though.

Both mugs who Drugassi beat to win slams, and then he says Fed had it easy lawl.
It seems someone got touched by Agassi's words..poor Fedtards... :bigwave:
