After watching today's match no doubt its nadal vs nole. At least with fed vs nadal outside of clay at slams it has always been thrilling 5 sets. Novak is destroying nadal and considering he played a 5 setter the other day it's damn impressive. Wouldn't be surprised if fed somehow ends up in nadal's half in hopes of having fevak final which would actually be 50-50 in who would win at most of the majors. So damn impressive that a 30 year old fed is able to beat this version of djoker still. Fed's gotta love nadal being stuck at 10 slams for a while. Peace out.

I agree wholeheartedly. I wanna see FEDAVic slam finals, not nadal/djokovic. With fed/nole, it would be a GREAT fucking match, with a 50/50 chance for each player

Collectively, it's Federer against Nadal because of the negative H2H. Rafa still has a positive H2H against Novak.

Currently, it's Nadal vs Novak because of Rafa's consecutive losses and signs point to the H2H evening out or turning to Novak's favour in the future.

Is the high bounce the problem though? He hits the same shots against Del Potro, Murray and Soderling and it seems to work fine against them.

Got much more exciting at least towards the end of the third set. Nole was still serving for the match and it should have been over in 3. I think the back problems probably contributed along with novak playing nearly 4 hrs vs federer that he kinda physically dropped out of that third set and tiebreaker but hey it made it for a much more exciting match because of that.

Looked like novak broke nadal's spirit in that 4th set. Never seen nadal kinda just give up like that. Nadal's psyche vs novak is done and it was never more apparent than in that 4th set. If novak beats nadal at roland garros that would put the final nail in the coffin.

This hurts nadal's legacy a bit. He won't get anywhere near federe's slam number for sure now. On top of that he's being destroyed by novak in finals in slams on every surface possible over and over. We may even see federer beat nadal more often than before bc of novak's destruction of nadal. Sad to see to be honest.

Haha, what a year. The good news is, Murray will NEVER EVER be mentioned next to these 3 again.

I think for once, they should put Murray on Djokovic's half of the draw, and give Federer opportunities to face Nadal in the semis.

DelPotro and Soderling can smack them but can't move as well as Nole and are in trouble after a few Nadal angled forehands. And it's the other way around with Murray. Djokovic has both, the aggressive shotmaking and movement, combined with unbelievable consistency.

At the moment Nadal is just getting destroyed by Djokovic. Had Djokovic served as well as he did against Federer the match would have been over a long time ago. 6 straight wins against Nadal and in finals as well. It is just scary :scared:. If only Djokovic 2.0 had arrived earlier. Federer has always given Nadal a tough time even though you knew he was going to lose anyway.

Definitely Fed against Nadull. At least Nadull fights till the end against Djokovic. Once Fedmug gets behind against Nadull he is resigned to defeat and falls immediately to pieces.

I'd say Nadal vs Nole, Nole has beaten Djoko on every surface this year, and won in straight sets in both clay matches, Nadal's favourite surface by far. Fed has allways beaten Nadal on indoors, at least he hasn't been dominated the way Nadal is right now to Nole everywhere!

Nadal exposes the Federer backhand when he plays against him. What Nadal does to Federer the Djoker does to Nadal. Whenever the Djoker is in trouble he just hits the ball cross-court to Nadal's backhand to get back into the point. Against Djokovic the Nadal serve is just there to start the point. Fedrer's serve does keep things close against any player.

At the moment certainly seems like Nadal vs. Djokovic, but then again Federer and Nadal haven't really played much the past two years and the quality of their matches haven't been that great either.
