So we have a number of players who have achieved GOD like status on the Hardcourts, it seems to be down to Sampras, Aggasi, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, Murray.

Please use the number of Titles (GS and Masters), Number of Finals, strength of competition, Winning streak and signifcance of what they have won and how they have won titles on Hardcourts.

How can you possibly have Murray up there?

Why did you include Murray in the poll, out of curiosity?

I am sorry, please disregard murray as he has not won enough to be considered a Hardcourt Great at this point. All others stand as it is.

Insignificant difference in % stats, plus Sampras had tougher competition than Fed had till 07. Therefore a draw between Pete and Roger, IMHO.
we can debate this all day long but I do agree it's a close call. I give a slight edge to Fed but that's just my opinion. I have a deep respect for both of them.

lol, we've already heard half of Sampras' opponents were grass specialists, to explain how he had tougher opposition there. Who are you thinking of when you're referring to tougher competition on hard?

If you look at the competition, Nole had to beat Rafa and Roger on his 5 slams.
Federer on the other hand has to beat Hewwit, Roddick and Safin
Agassi and Sampras mostly have to beat each other.

Given fair opposition, I think Nole is the greatest hardcourt player, being in finals of US Open consecutively and in 4 straight AO title.

And Besides, Nole can still add to his resume.
