In my eyes, I see one main threat and his name goes by Gael Monfils. Provided he doesn't break all his bones by the end of the year, I think a masters in France will give him a boost, especially at the fact most players are fatigued by then and Monfils is probably one of the few players who can make it to the end without being too fatigued (provided he schedules smartly). Fedalovic could have a decent chance but let's see how Federer's form goes while Nadal will probably have to withdraw from injury while Djokovic is scheduling smartly this year and would probably not want to put to much effort into Paris Masters and save it for the ATP Finals. I think there is no other player that I could think that would win the Paris Masters but then also experience the curse as by then Monfils will be getting older and it's hard to believe he will still be playing at this level by next year. You also got to take in that he would have probably broken up with Svitolina by then or something.
