In a hard court peak Denko can do a slighly better job imo. However Nole 2.0 did it on every surface in 2011.

Difficult to say. Davydenko is more offensive and will try to keep the points short. Djokovic is able to rally Nadal even if he just returns the ball right in his racket. So, while a peak Davydenko might be deadlier with his style of play, Djokovic has a lot more options during the rally

This , all in all Davydenko sometimes takes it TOO early thus increasing his chance to make an error greatly. But Djokovic sometimes does stupid shit too ... i can't say.
They're equal to me.

Nole across all surfaces. The Davy-Nadal grass match-up is of course purely hypothetical.

Would also bear in mind that we haven't seen Davy do it over five sets whereas Djokovic has. Though that's arguably a mere quirk of fate.

Interesting comparison. Davydenko (peak) was better at completely ROASTING Dull but Nole (2011) was better at hanging with Nadull and eventually winning the rally. Different styles, different results.

I would say Novak but when both are playing half decent tennis they will destroy him in a rally because they actually hit winners.

Djokovic and Davydenko are similar in two ways:

1- Both hug the baseline and don't like to be pushed back.
2- Their BHs are extremely solid and never affected by Rafa's heavy topspin FH.

Edge to Djokovic on slower surfaces: He can stay with Nadal forever. Edge to Davydenko on faster surfaces: He is more offensive.

Agreed mostly, but Djokovic has no problem hanging back behind the baseline. Djokovic has better ROS too.

Depends on what you mean by out-rally. Djokovic is far better beating Nadal at his own game. Davydenko is much better stripping Nadal of any weapons.

It's not even hypothetical. There probably isn't a top 20 player Davy would beat on grass, ever, prime, post- prime, in retirement home.
