I got in a discussion with some guy, he says it is clearly Ivanisevic.

Safin has been number 1, 2 slams, 5 masters series.

Ivanisevic has been number 2, 1 slam and 2 masters series.

To me it is clear...

What about you?

(sorry if this is totally random)

I guessed and said tie. I don't know enough about Ivanisevic to judge. Marat, for some reason, seems to be the most popular player of all time.

Well Safin has been Number one and more bigger titles, also 2 Davis Cups...

One of the guys arguments is "Is Safin going to be commentating on Eurosport for Australian open? no, nobody wants to listen to him" :retard:

passion for the game over waste of talent anyday.

Goran would have given anything to win a Slam,
Safin wouldnt even give up a week of partying for a slam

Safin has had the better career, I don't even really see how it's up for debate.

The question is, who has had a better career?

Safin has achieved more at 25 than Goran has in his whole career.

He is nearly 28 and still could win more. (could)

Don't let your heritage blind you.

If Safin was a Croat, you'd be saying the opposite.

A poll that Safin deserves to win.

I understand the urge the say Goran given the way Safin has pissed away the chance to be a truly great player but it's pretty clear on any objective analysis that Safin has achieved more.
