In present-day form, who could have realistically beaten Wawrinka at this year's French Open?

Tsonga. He was probably one point away from leading 2 sets to 1.
Also Wawrinka taking a MTO in the middle of the 3rd set when Jo had all the momentum was truly disgusting. :(

Depends on the day. I would have fancied any of the quarterfinalists from the other half to have beaten him in the semifinal, but think all would have struggled in the final, if he played as he did in those matches.

Dr. Rafael Nadal.

Dr. Nadal would have sent Stan The Man packing to Babotopia.

No1e is he was not exhausted from the terrible schedule and draw from hell.

No one else had a chance at all.

Look, Wawrinka won the French Open. Nobody else did. And we are not extra-dimensional beings that have access to parallel universes. So you'll just have to accept it and move on.

Yeah, peak Federer and peak Nadal could have beaten that Stanimal. No lesser players could. From RG 2015 specifically...no-one!

Top form Fedal would have. Peaking Djokovic would have made it a battle too.

Tsonga was fortunate to win the set that he did
