Any thoughts?
RG and USO are terrible slams cuz Fed can't even sniff at the trophy, great logic. As usual, either AO or Wimbledon. In general, RG and USO are terrible Slams anyway.
Nobody has won more US Open titles than Federer in the Open Era. :shrug:RG and USO are terrible slams cuz Fed can't even sniff at the trophy, great logic.
Yeah, the most recent one like 5 or 6 years ago? USO and RG are by no means terrible slams, by whatever your definition of "terrible" is.Nobody has won more US Open titles than Federer in the Open Era.
Uh, I don't think being the first slam of the year necessarily attracts surprise losses... Rafa's surprise losses all came from Wimby. I think the most competitive slam could be AO, since all the big names are well rested and won't be prone to losses due to fatigue.AO: first slam of the year...attracts surprise losses
RG: Too predictable outcome...
Wimbledon: Obscure and again surprise prone surface... but if Murray can pick up his game and Rafa is helped by longer grass season...
USO: Too late in the year... last USO sucked.
So maybe it'll be Wimbledon this time around.
Also draws will be a big factor since Rafa is ranked 3rd.... and Andy who knows where.
According to me, RG 2012 and 2014 were awful quality-wise, just like USO 2012, 2013 and 2014. Federer hasn't won AO since 2010, but I still enjoy a lot this Slam, so your point is invalid. :shrug:Yeah, the most recent one like 5 or 6 years ago? That's one way of looking at it. I think AO has had quite many surprise winners over the years.Uh, I don't think being the first slam of the year necessarily attracts surprise losses...
