Let's see what he defends between now and grass season:

Dubai - 500
IW - 600
Miami - 1000
Rome + Madrid - 360
RG - 720

that makes 3180 points, 7130 - 3180 = 3950, that would be 7-8 spot in the ranking.

7th seems to be a no-brainer, as Federer will be around 4000 points. The other 4 top 5 players don't defend many points, Tsitsipas will probably defend most of his points and Zverev can only go up. Maybe someone like Monfils, RBA, Berrettini or Rublev could pass him with a huge result, but I doubt that would happen. Big blow to Federer is that he'll probably be seeded 5th for Wimbledon, and will face a 1/2 chance of facing Nadal/Djokovic in the QF.

From Berrettini to Kachanov its about 1000 poits. KK is at 17th. All these guys have a good chance to reach top10.
Tsisipas and Medvedev will fight for the 4th until Federer returns.
Sasha is the only one that hasnt much upside to winning.
Its a given Federer will drop to around 4000. My bet would be 8th, 9th at worst.

Actually Medvedev has a huge headstart, more than 2000 points above Tsitsipas in terms of race to post-RG. I think it's Thiem-Medvedev fight for #3 and Zverev-Tsitsipas fight for #5, not that it changes much in seeding.
