If I remember correctly, the USO is the only slam that plays the first round over 3 days, so the matches could be all over the place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You might want to check the 2004 USO thread in the archive and see if that gives you some idea of how they do the schedule.

Yes, you are correct, Fee, the 1st round is played over a span of 3 days. Unless they have changed that this year.

I think it's usually the top half first unless the top seed asks for a later start (eg to allow recovery from an injury). I would guess if there's 3 days ( ) top half is across Mon-Tues and bottom half across Tues-Wed.

the Remaining 8 plus half of the Top Half will likely play Tuesday

BOTTOM HALF

1 Mon or Tues
2 Thursday(Two night Matches Weds)
3 Saturday
4 Monday
Q Wednesday

That Means Agassi and Roddick will also have an extra day off before the SemiFinal as well.

So incredibly true. It's like they sabotage the players with the unreasonable schedule. And if we add the possibility of having rain all this week, we're looking at big time scheduling trouble.
