Don't know if this should be in general messages, but let's give it a go anyway.

Gilles Muller is a player who disappeared off of my tennis radar about a year ago, when after a string of first round losses he stopped playing altogether for the remainder of the 2013 season. Lately I got myself thinking; what has this guy been up to? So I checked tennis explorer and apparently, Muller has won three tournaments in a row (two challengers and an ITF event, losing only six out of 33 sets) and has made the finals of two other challenger tournaments this year, winning one of them.

Obviously Muller is not a challenger player per se; he has a great first serve (one could call him a servebot), a powerful forehand and decent volleying skills. He made it as high as number 42 in the world, a ranking which I think the guy fully deserves.

So, after winning three events in a row, when is this guy getting back to playing 250s and 500s? It is about time.

He's taking the Carreno-Busta approach of hiking up the rankings.
