Just curious as I was thinking the other day that Nadal's next Slam outside of RG Will have some significance attached to it regardless of where it is. So what do you guys think? What will add to his legacy the most?
Australian Open - Obviously the only slam he hasn’t won at least twice. A win here would mean he’s the first person in the open era to hold at least 2 slams on each surface.
Wimbledon - Let’s face it, even I have to admit that this is the slam players want to win most. While I stand by a slam is a slam. I guess there’s something nice about winning in the birthplace of tennis. There’s also something nice about things in 3’s a win here would give Nadal a hat-trick at Wimbledon. Pretty good for a “clay court specialist”.
US Open - Amazingly a win here would see Nadal tie for most US Open’s and even maybe give him a chance to own the outright record if he could snag 6. Would be pretty funny/amazing for the “clay courter” to have the most titles at 2 of the 4 slams while Djokovic and Federer would only have one.
