my picks are bolded

of all the seeds i think nishikori and tsonga are most in danger of losing first round. bolelli should have beet nishikori here last year and muller is not the opponent tsonga wants in the first round with no grass court practice.

as a bonus. which seeded player do you think has the easiest first round and what one has the toughest first round?

easiest first round: tie between federer, murray and raonic

toughest first round: probably djokovic. no grass practice and one of the best grass courters that are unseeded in the first round. i think djokovic will get through but it wont be easy. i actually think this is a tougher first round than some of the seeds that i think will lose in the first round . honorable mention to nishikori and tsonga who both also got 2 really though opening matches.

Berdych and Nishikori won't lose but I think you pretty much got the rest. Don't really see Lopez losing in R1 either.

My version

Novak has most difficult opponent, than Tsonga and the other bolds have somewhat equal ones

No way Nishikori loses that R1. Berdych and Fognini either.

I'm gonna do out on a limb and say Luke "Lukas" Saville will stun Gasquet.

Saville is awful. That's one of the most certain 3-0's in Round one for me.

Djokovic got a super easy draw, Kholi is a choker and will not win the match. After that Novak got the cakewalk of cakewalks.
Djokovic has indeed gotten one of the toughest opponents I've ever seen one of the top 4 seeds get at R1 in a slam, but he should still be fine, people are overacting when people say he has a tough draw. after that, it isn't tough, and he got a potentially much easier R4/QF/SF than Federer. and in those rounds, since it's the latter stages and more quality opponents, it's better to get easier opponents.

I rather face more challenging opponents in the first few rounds, and get easier opponents in the more important stages. I mean let's be honest, the opponents in the first few rounds won't take him out.

Lol, everyone hugely overrates Darcis, all because one good match against Nadal...
There is a reason Darcis never broke through. He's a mug who is always injured. Plays one good match to really disintegrate completely his next match...

Nope you guys a wrong .

it was imperative for Novak to get easier opponent or clay specialist in R1 for multiple reasons ..
Most importantly he doesn't have competitive grass matches and is very rusty (just lost to Zverev Jr.) and second it is fresh grass and most of the upsets are happening on such circumstances.

So having tough opponent in R1 at Wimbledon matters much more than RG or USO ....

So much anticipation for the Djokovic Kohli match, even if he gets the first set there's no way he's not going to choke then crumble. Djokovic just needs to withstand and prevail.

As for Muller Tsonga, literally anything could happen
