- 10 consecutive years winning a slam. Best longevity ever.

- 14 slams, equalling Pete Sampras and getting closer to Federer's record.

- 9 french open titles, a stunning display of domination, distancing himself from the 7 wimbledons of Sampras and Federer.

- 5 french opens in a row, equalling the record of Federer with most consecutive wins in one slam (and has a shot for 6 in a row next year).

- Improves to 9-3 in slam meetings vs Djokovic, proving once and for all that he's at another level.

- Keeping the no.1 ranking and still adding weeks at no.1.

- 64 atp titles, equaling Sampras and Borg as 5# of all time in amount of single's titles

- Right now he's
23-19 vs Djokovic (9-3 in slams)
23-10 vs Federer (9-2 in slams)
15-5 vs Murray (7-2 in slams)

- and most importantly once again proving all his haters wrong.

GOAT.

Simply on another level. Some of the all time greats as his opposition. Result? Two turkeys and a pigeon. All massive pigeons in slams.

He's still the third greatest player of all time.

Haha yeah the more people put him down the more he wins. Keep it coming.
How did I put him down? Being the third greatest in the history of a popular sport like tennis is pretty amazing.

Yeah, but Roger has done this at two tournaments! Winning just one tournament many times doesn´t make you a GOAT of all surfaces, that´s for sure.

Next thing is that Nadal has the best match-up against Roger, but Djokovic the best against Nadal. So I confirm the Nole--Aspekt of the h2h, but not the Roger-Nadal h2h.

Edit: Without Counting RG Nadal has just a 4-2 h2h in Slams...

had he won australian open, he would be the GOAT by now maybe. 15 slams, and winning career grand slam twice, first in history to do it... too bad he got injured. his legend grew here though. well done

Thanks for making an argument as to why he's not in the GOAT discussion.

So Nadal is a combined 25-7 against those three in slams, which have a best 3 of 5 format that favors him over every other player. And yet somehow he has only won 5 of 22 slams outside of RG since he first ascended to the top of the game. That's not GOAT material, especially when it is combined with the fact that he has never won the WTF once. It's clay-GOAT material who can occasionally grind his way to other slams.

The most impressive stat for me is that he won at least a slam for 10 consecutive years.
