How dare the British put the Semis on a sacred holiday.

Utter disgrace from the Wimbledon association, considering most people who watch Wimbledon are knowledgeable 'Mericans.

I can tell you now, Uncle Sam and the rest of 'Merica is ashamed at the U.K.'s dishonorable actions.

Tata British mugs and learn some respect for the best country in the world.

The 'Merican Open would never hold matches on a British holiday, truly poor form by Wimbledon
The British have holidays?

 at you wanting us to cater our Grandslam around your bank-holidays.

There's a bloody flipping bank-holiday every other week in the US, you guys needs to work more, no wonder obesity figures are sky-high.

It really is disgraceful. Do we have to put them in their place again?

aussie open holds matches on Australia Day
I'm all for it. Got to stay home and watch matches comfortably on TV yesterday (Canada Day) rather than struggling to catch a bit of livestreams at work.

You have a bloody remembrance of women dying through labor day for goodness sake.

Talk about capitalising on the dead.

You guys think the world actually revolves around you, this is what's the most hysterical aspect of this thread even existing. :haha:

It is true that you live in your own bubble and know little else about the world outside of the US.

There are hundreds of other countries out there on the planet, some also celebrating some sort of religious or cultural festival and not working some days, do we suddenly start catering our Grandslam tennis tournament around these days?

The audacity to think we should accommodate for you guys. We don't need to improvise jack-shit, remember that you came from us and you essentially were only just us a few lifetimes ago. SO REMEMBER YOUR ROOTS.

How luducrous would it sound? "We are rescheduling for Americans, as it's their bank-holiday' LOL!

First, tennis is not your national sport.
Second, there are our 15,000 people from Britain who have purchased center court tickets for Wimbledon, many specifically so they can watch the men's semi-finals. How do they adjust?
Third, quit being premadonas.
Fourth, you can watch the highlights, don't worry.
Fifth, watching the highlights isn't as watching it live, but still, don't worry.
