Currently Novak is on 18 Masters (14 Hard Court Masters), 6 Slams (4A0, 1 WIM, 1 US, 1 FRENCH?), 3 WTF, 43 Match winning streak on all surfaces....etc etc..

Why does Djokovic not get his due respect from the fans?..Why is he hated upon...?

What must he add on his current stats in order to be considered equal among Fed and Nadal?

Do you believe or predict that Novak will be considered among the two when his career finishes?

Will Novak be remembered as a TOP 5 player along with Fed/Nadal?

How many slams must he win?, How many WTF's?, What about his AO Legacy?, Masters 1000?..H2H record vs fed and nadal (Djokovic is currently 34 - 40 against Fed and Nadal)

Will Novak fall short?..Will his slam count end at 6 - 8 or 9 - 12?..What say you MTF?

Djokovic gets his due respect from fans. It's just that in terms of total career achievements, he's a long way behind the other two. He would have to more than double his slam count to be mentioned in the same sentence as the other two in terms of where he ranks among the all-time greats.

He's not hated upon. He just hasn't been good enough to be considered anywhere near top 5 all time. He's scraping right around 10th now (top of head: fed, sampras, nadal, borg, laver, lendl, agassi, connors, mcenroe, wilander). He can probably surpass a couple of those with 2-3 more slams, but to break into the top 5 he's gonna need another 5 slams, which doesn't seem likely.

His on court demeanour seems to incense some people. I personally really like him as a personality and obviously hes a great tennis player. Its probably partly to do with the lack of distinctiveness or USP of his game as he doesnt have the 'fighting hustle' of Nadal or the graceful groundstrokes and swissness of federer and his cardigans.

Novak will be remember, probably in the breath just after nadal and Federer, but throw in a couple more really dominant hard court seasons, a wimbledon win and probably most importantly the career slam at RG and he will definetly be even closer to being remembered in the same way as those two.

The simple thing is he hasnt won enough slams or had enough dominance to even come close to Federer or Nadal. Thats it really, win a load more slams is what he needs to do but he probably will never be able to win enough to compete.

Does anyone believe that Novak will lead the slam count in Australia?..Will he win more than 6 or will he fall short?

Djokovic is going to have a 3-4 year window pretty soon where he'll be the favourite in every slam (maybe not Wimbledon depending on Murray). He may never be as loved as those two, but he'll have a great opportunity to go down as one of the best to ever play the game just like them (if he's not already there).

It's almost 3 years that he's the favorite in every Slam, except RG.

He's better than Nadal already, just a shame he peaked so late. Djoker 2.0 owns Dull who took advantage of him being injured and choking half the time before. Peak Novak schooled Dull 7 times in a row on all surfaces. If he plays decent tennis, Nadal has no chance.

Sadly he can't catch Roger though, but who can?

Because he enjoys theatre/performing arts too much which distracts and annoys a lot of viewers that perceive him as the court's clown as opposed to the first general of the court(Nadal) and the king(Federer)

He will be considered equal in terms of tennis skill if he reaches their achievements. However, not many people will like or trust him because a clown remains a clown...

He will probably get a few more majors and masters but, I doubt he will be able to reach Rafa or Roger in terms of achievements. It's not because he does not have the potential to do it, it's just that his heart is somewhere else...

They probably will be remembered as such but it's not so likely for Novak...

I see him winning more Masters then Federer. But not more then Rafa.

As for Slams he will surpass Becker but i dont see him reaching Rafa.

Hes been the best since 2011. But in terms of Slams 2012 and 2013 have been disapoitments. 2014 has been the same and now hes recovering from wrist injury. We still dont know who bad it was or is. But Federer and Rafa are on decline and young guns are apreing slowly.

So techniclly Nole will rise in a weak era right. Fed and Rafas decline. Murray uncertain and nobody to stop Nole.

Priceless.

Nope. Nadal thrived against mono fed and Djoko and Murray when they were mugging. When Nole reached his full potential, a mug like Nadal had no chance. Try again troll :wavey:

I think that most people expected Djokovic to push through after AO 2008, but instead he disappeared. If he had reached his 2011, or even post-2011 form earlier, he would have narrowed the gap with Fedal significantly.

No, you got it all wrong. Tards like the guy you're talking to have a very special perception that adapts to a required agenda:

The quality of a match is judged by the outcome: Djokovic wins - heroic/Nadal played his best, Nadal wins - Djokovic played at 1% and nearly won/terrible match.

The quality of a player is judged by personal agenda: Federer is better than Nadal - numbers don't lie, Nadal is better than Djokovic - numbers don't mean a thing

The quality of a field is judged by the outcome: Djokovic wins 3 slams - best year ever, strong competition, Nadal wins 2 slams - worst year ever, fluke draws, luck

The quality of a player's performance is based on the outcome: Djokovic wins - Nadal played his best, Djokovic loses - Nadal played like shit but Djokovic choked

The list goes on. It's funny to imagine that someone actually believes this shit. I guess when you're butthurt to the very core your reason is clouded and we shouldn't blame JoWilly, he can't help himself. His boy is still getting kicked around by 32 year old Federer any day of the week. And then Nadal takes his US Open record to an abysmal 1:4. JoWilly just couldn't take it anymore. I wish him a speedy recovery. :D
