A lot of people on this board say Roddick is very one-dimensional, big serve, big groundies. Strategy is hit hard, hard, hard. He is talentless and everyone else on the tour is better then him but some can't even beat him.
When I've seen Safin's matches I see the exact same thing: Big serve, huge groundstokes, hit hard, hard, hard. Yet I don't see much anti-Safin rhetoric being spewed on the board. Why? Is it the attention Roddick gets? Is it because he's an American on a board where most people hate America or Americans? Or is it because he is a threat to your favorite player? I'm not fan of Roddick myself, I prefer the Swede's more than anyone. Yet I see a lot of people on this board who fawn over players with as much talent as people claim Roddick has-none. What gives?
