From junior number one and grand slam champion to retirement at just 21. Ouch, ouch. Really sad story :(

He had a lot of injuries. It seems that his body wasn't strong enough to play the pro tour. Now he is studying to become an Engineer. He have guaranteed job as his family are in this business, so he will be ok. I think it was a smart decision even if it is disapointing.

Reading the interview it wasn't only the injuries for sure. He lacked motivation and couldn't handle the pressure of the tour. He said he would probably be connected to tennis in the future, but not as a pro.

I watched him tank a challenger qualifying match once to a Hungarian player named Dennis Luckacs, I believe he got handed a bagel by an NCAA player, never heard much from him after that (this was 2 years ago or maybe 3 years ago now and he was a hot commodity at the time)
