I know he had a career-threatening wrist injury a few years ago.


Is he injured or has he retired?

He retired at the end of last year. His last match was a loss in straight sets to Tatsuma Ito in the second round of qualifying at the 2014 US Open.

I believe it was serious back problems that sidelined him for good after his great recovery from wrist injury and career best year. Somewhere I read he opened a tennis academy, or maybe it was just a new tennis club, somewhere near Charlotte, NC.
