Federer has already lost this year, so it's already possible.

Ok but however to have just 3 losses in almost one year we can say that this guy is (ok nearly)unbeattable.

2.Rafa Nadal -> A lot of things, but so far he´s not doing so bad, isn´t he?
3.A-Rod -> Roger playing without a racket
4.Hewy -> Roger playing with his left hand
5.Tsar Marat -> A roof, a healthy knee and focus
6.Nico "work a lot" Davydenko -> playing at his 100% for 3 sets and clay
7.Endless Andre -> 8 years younger
8.Guillermo "I don't like Rafa" Coria -> Clay and some of his old form
9.Gaston "FO 2004 winner" Gaudio .> Idem
10.Mariano "coming from nowhere" Puerta -> more difficult, but clay to start with sth

Nadal- needs to improve his grasscourt game and also stay consistent on HC, stamping out losses like the Berdych one.
Roddick- Fed injured.
Hewitt- A serve like Karlovic.
Safin- To be focused, and play his best tennis.
Agassi- A time machine.
Davydenko- A reliable serve and also clay.
Coria- His best tennis, and also on clay.
Gaudio- Nandrolone, or anything performance enhancing.
Puerta- A miracle.

Nadal: Doing quite well now
Roddick: Not enough game, has tried different strategies and varying his serve, but is totally owned by Federer
Hewitt: Serve very well, needs to be more aggressive
Safin: Has the weapons, not the consistent mindset
Agassi: Needs to hit down the line backhand winners, age against him
Davydenko: Hasn't got the variety and can't miss a ball
Coria: Similar to Hewitt
Gaudio: Clay and some self-belief
Puerta: Somehow improve his court speed, dominate with his forehand a claycourt.

nadal and gaudio have legitimate shots on clay. (gaudio on the right day)
nadal has a legitimate shot now on hard courts, but not on grass and probably not indoor.
safin has a shot on any surface, with the right attitude

roddick, hewitt, davydenko, agassi, coria and puerta have almost no chance right now on any surface. the improvements they need to make are obvious and they are all making them or at least trying to from what i can see. the problem they have is that whilst they are improving, federer is not just standing still. there is still potentially more to come from federer than there is from any of this group...
