WTAWORLD has been a good place to civilize for alot of people over the last year. I have only been their for a month but it's been a pleasent place to visit. But Since I have been their there has been 3 complete shut downs or "maintinence checks" as what they call it.

People must know that WTAWORLD is starting to de-terriorate slowly, sure they can comfort us by saying every thing is all right and peachy king, but I think we must slightly acknowledge that the board will contine to deterioate at a slow turtle pace.

I wouldn't be surprised if 1 day the board finally collapese like the sanex site.

So what are the options for us on their, what should we do.

There are other places on the internet that would comfort us for a civilization but where, gotennis is hardly accessible and is a laughing stock. tenniscenter.com is hardly as good as the last one I mention. So if we look at other boards they can not compete with the wta board that we frequently use alot.

I emailed the sanex site a week ago and got a reply concerning if another board might be available in the future.

The Sanex Board that you were concerned about had left for various confidential reasons.
A proposed new Board is certainly not out of the question. We get an average of around 20 emails a day of people concerning and questioning us about the why the Sanex Board had left.

for confidential (another big ) reasons we see no new forum being composed in the near future, but in a year we will suggest a new board to sanex and the Womens Tennis Association for the sanexwta.com board.

So if it does finally demolish, we may see a new home in a maybe a year or two.

Lets hope that good things come to the board and it can live longer then expected.

Last time wtaworld was down many post URLs to other forums (and they will come here) but I don't think there is a other board like WTAWorld. (I HOPE somerday the Sanex board will be back!) even I love wtaworld.

The Sanex Board was controversial

There were a lot of things happening there, between the people who ran that board I have only heard rumours.

But that was the first ever message board I posted on, so I still like it. I hope it comes back.

I think the WTA needs better marketing behind it. Here in the States there's more high school football coverage than tennis coverage. And that's a shame. After the US Open coverage is non-existent and at the Year End Championship it's just a little better but it's treated as nothing more than a glorified Tier I.
