What age do you think Federer will retire?

Despite being past his prime, he's still winning tournaments and challenging top players. How long do you think it'll be until he hangs up the racquet? We all know he will at least attempt the 2016 Olympics so he'll be there till then(Lost cause since it's on clay :/ ) I hope he plays till 40 :( However when he starts to lose a lot he will consider it as he stated once. At least unlike Sampras he doesn't seem to be getting tired of the sport and he loves playing it so that's a good sign. In all seriousness he might at around 2017.

Look at how easily he's beaten the second tier of players in recent months - Murray, Nishikori, Raonic, Dimitrov... - he has enough margin over the field below the big 3 that it's very hard to imagine a situation where he falls out of the top 8/10, which is the sort the situation that could make him consider retirement. So bar injuries it'll still be quite a while.
I hope he pulls a Connors and extends his trophy cabinet.
At a reasonable age.

you do realize that Federer is one of the best clay courters of all time, right?

He is, but he is vulnerable now. Matches on clay take a huge toll on the body as well. Given if Nadal is there he is the favourite.
A lot depends on how he does, I can't see him playing much longer once he drops out of the top 8, but if he still remains there, he'll still continue I think.
Federer has started aging backwards. He'll pick up a bout 11 majors in the next 9 years and start dominating futures.
Dunno. Does he want to chase Connors? He's about 5 years away for that.
I always thought it would be at the end of next season but now he may even extend to 2018 if he keeps playing well.
Really interested in the age Fedtards give (which will no doubt be wrong)
As long as he keeps on winning. But not even he knows this answer.

Now the real question is will he retire or be force to retire, injury or not winnng tournaments.
As well as he's playing at the moment, I'd still be surprised if he goes much beyond the end of next season.
He should retire when his ranking is bigger than his age.
36 yrs. old he will Retire at Wimbledon.

Actually he is waiting for Nadal to retire, then he will break his RG record  :)
He will never retire.

Anyone who disagrees is an ignorant simpleton.
I wonder where he will retire. The most appropriate places are either Wimbledon or Basel. But if he's still doing well (top 8) I'd assume he wants to play a full season. For instance if he chooses Basel, there is still Paris the week after and then the WTF. For Federer's sake I hope that tournament is going to stay in London.
