With a suggestion from @Matthieu I am going to try this for a post. Whether you all like or loathe Bernard Tomic, you will find latest updates on him here. Although I will put in a separate post on whatever tournament he is playing in.

The latest updates for Bernie are entering the qualifiers for: Week Commencing 29th May ATP Challenger Little Rock 75 Challenger, Hard Court, USA. W/C 5th June ATP Challenger 75 Tyler Tennis Championships, Hard Court USA. W/C 12th June ATP Challenger 75 Caribbean Open, Palmas Del Mar, Hard Court Puerto Rico.

Let's see how Bernard will perform!

I get it and it's all well and good but it just makes me question his desire to reach the top 100. Withdrawing from tournaments the following week when he makes qfinals or semis and then the hope that he makes the main draw.... it just seems so half asses at times. Dont get me wrong, I love tomic the half ass, he is a God but as a tennis fan I find it difficult the rationalise these competing emotions of being pro tomic vs pro athetic competition/mindset

Only person in the top 200 carrying more tournaments is Luciano Darderi with 35
But how does he compare when counting matches? It could also be impressive, but if you keep losing early you can play far less matches than those with longer runs in less tournaments.

Classic BT tactic paid off once again! Grant the opponent a random set(bagel) after winning the first and have them completely guessing/in the dark how you gonna pull up in the 3rd Set.
Just as well he is not a player people suspect of creating results paid for by gamblers!

Tomic has got into the main draw of the ATP 125 Jinan Open Challenger thanks to some more withdrawals. Here's hoping he won't pull out of that?

In the first round in the Jinan Challenger Open, Tomic faces Czech 4th Seed Dalibor Svrcina (ATP Ranking 91). Their only meeting came in a Challenger in New Delhi last year when Svrcina won in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.

6-1; 0-6; 6-2 win(y) against #4 seed Svrcina -#87 in ATP Ranking- another Top100 victory for Bernie, would be nice/good to see him follow this one up in this ATP125 Challenger...

In the next round Tomic has Brit Billy 'Man In A Van' Harris (ATP Ranking 133). Harris has won both of their previous meetings. First one was during 2022 in a 2nd round Challenger qualifying match in Todi, Italy losing 6-1, 6-4. Second time was last year when Newport was an ATP Tour Tournament when Harris beat Tomic 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of qualifying. Third time lucky for Bernie??
