Strange desicion taken by Istomin to play here when due to his ranking he could be playing ATP Zagreb or Montpellier the same week .

I want to see Duckworth play again. Kid has huge potential, I expect him on the main tour very soon.

Would be good to see young Duckworth put in another good performance here.

Hopefully Laaksonen will get a good quali-draw. He's the only young swiss player who has real good potential ....

Highly doubt he'll get one..

He said the reason he's playing is because he has Davis Cup in New Zealand soon after and couldn't be bothered to travel back and forth.

Re: Week 5: Burnie Australia (entry lists)

I assume Saville, Harris and Kyrgios will get three of the main draw wild cards, All three are still involved in junior events at the Australian open and probably would have been front runners anyway. Patrick-Smith may get the other one.

Re: Week 5: Burnie Australia (entry lists) (Updated 27 January)

My guess at the wildcards would be Millman, Patrick-Smith and Saville. Not sure about the 4th one.

None of those three you mention are in the qualifying draw but neither are Krygios or Harris.

Kyrgios gave it a decent shot at the AO QD, I'd say. Didn't play the boys' singles event, but did well in doubles. Why shouldn't he get a WC?
