Week 47: 2015 Challenger Tour Finals

Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Prize Money: $220K
Surface: Indoor Clay
Balls:
Site: Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Rua Angelina Maffei Vita, 493, Jardim Europa, São Paulo
Starting Date: November 23
2014 Champion: Diego Schwartzman (Argentina)
Format: The ATP Challenger Tour Finals is a tennis tournament played at the end of each year, involving the top seven players in that year's ATP Challenger Tour, plus an invited player from the tournament's host country.
Like the ATP World Tour Finals, the ATP Challenger Tour Finals is not a straightforward knock-out tournament. Eight players are divided into two groups of four, and play three round-robin matches each against the other three players in their group. From there, the two players with the best records in each group progress to the semifinals, with the winners meeting in the final to determine the champion.

A few days ago the preliminary information about the 2015 Challenger Tour Finals was finally added to the calendar Challenger Tour | Calendar | ATP World Tour | Tennis

I guess it's time to start discussing who is going to enter or even if the players are indeed interested to enter.

YTD Challenger Ranking is also recently available (this year on Twitter :) )

(composed by Josh Meiseles, ATP Staff, as previous years)
Josh has promised to tweet the updated standings out each Monday until it's up (see his account https://twitter.com/jmeistennis )

IMO there isn't much evidence that the ranking leader Hyeon Chung will enter. Let's discuss.

Anyone has the latest updated rankings ? I guess Yuki Bhambri will be quite high on the list now after his performances in Shanghai and now in Taipei so far.

Is the ranking anywhere public?

Which tournaments are counted?

John Millman for example:

Here are also tournaments from 2014 counted?

And only the best 10 Challenger-Tournaments?

Munoz-De La Nava would otherwise have more points than 556 ...

As said above, it's Josh Meiseles from ATP https://twitter.com/jmeistennis

I don't know anything else about rules, ranking and so on

Re: Week 47: 2015 Challenger Tour Finals

^The current (2015) Challenger Tour Finals is the 5th (since 2011). On old version of the ATP site we had YTD Challenger rankings regulations and the ranking itself (at least last months before finals in 2011-2014). I guess it had semiofficial nature, because you could not find it in the ATP Rulebook. I think all stuff was prepared/composed by Josh Meiseles, ATP Staff (see OP). However, this year on the new version of ATP site all materials disappeared and Josh continues to publish the rankings only via his tweeter account.
As far as I remember, the rankings are based on all challenger results after previous year deadline for tour finals. For example, this year deadline is November 02 and all results obtained by players on weeks 44-47 of 2015 year will be counting in the 2016 rankings.
