Re: Week 43: Rimouski, Canada

I live there and I can't wait! Nice to see Fred here for the 1st time (and who knows how long is gonna play) and Peter, Philip. And it's nice that Pokrajac got a wildcard. Don't know anything about him besides his name so it's going to be interesting to get to know a new player.
The organizers said last year that we'll get new seats and I hope they will keep their word. My butt took days to recover last year.

Why Vasek
Why not Vasek. Especially with Duclos not coming. Berard doesnt have any real potnetial, Chvokja could get one no doubt but the rest of the ranked Canadians cant even qualify for a futures event. Vasek just started playing in qualifiers regularly and he could use some help and experience.

By the way, whats going on with Steckley, is he retired?

I was not implying that the WC should go to a Canadian player, I was simply asking what I think is a legitimate question

No point in helping the Americans, they dont help Peter :p

Obviously if they can get a topish play than sure, but there is no point in giving it to a Phillip Simmonds type of player like they did in Vancouver

Flavio should have decided to go here :(

Of course, no WC should be given to an American player  considering the number of Challengers played in the US.

Why not give a WC to an European player who has not entered the tournament
