i thought the barker twins had retired from tennis due to the atp chaning the doubles rules and are trying to sue them.
Yeah, that's what they said. But I think there's a chance they'd come back if the rules were changed.

I'm wondering if Fruttero and Rettenmaier might be getting WCs.

Was sort of hoping that Travis would be playing Doubles with Alex if Alex decided to play Doubles.

yea, the day the lawsuit was announced, they said they were retiring b/c they knew they'd essentially be forced to anyway in a couple years. They're young brilliant guys and can probably make more money doing other stuff anyway lol. But I was under the impression from the London Times article that discussed this that they'd consider playing again if the rules were changed so as to not endanger their career but that may be a mis-reading on my part.

Fruttero didn't need a wildcard, he was on the first direct entry list. No idea what's up with Rettenmaier. There should be a qualie list around here somewhere...

Didn't realize that J.P. had moved up far enough to get D.E. into any Challengers. I don't think that Travis has played since US Open Doubles. Maybe he's just waiting to play till things swing back to Cali...all speculation, of course.
