Good field for the prize money but otherwise it's not that great as some of you make it out to be

it would be real good if federer and nadal came, yeah

young players coppejans, pouille, dzumhur, carballes baena and coric especially...

for a journalist it's epic, i'm often asked about these players. i'd get shitload clicks for reports/pics/interviews  certainly more than for washed out mid top 100 journeymen that usually come to szczecin. people just like new names

out of these players i really like just Radu and Inigo  the rest i dont know personally or im indifferent about. Goffin can play a pretty game so he's good to watch too

First MD WC will go to Kamil Majchrzak. Kapas, Koniusz and Panfil are expected to get WC too, unless Kubot wants to play here.

Re: Week 29: Poznań, Poland [Entry List]

solid choice

kubot said he wanted to focus on his health first and there was something bothering him again, so i dont think he'll show up (though, he visits a doctor in Poznan actually) maybe he'll collect the cheque and play a friendly. but he clearly said in an interview he needs to focus on bigger events for his body to keep holding well

either he wont play or he'll just come and play 1-2 matches as practise sessions ;)

Re: Week 29: Poznań, Poland [Entry List]

OUT: Collarini, Clezar
IN: Machado, Ćorić

Seeding is now sure, pending no "top" withdrawals:
Rola [1]
Haider-Maurer [2]
Goffin [3]
Souza [4]
Džumhur [5] :)
Beck [6]
Herbert [7]
Ungur [8]

In addition to Wild Card topic, the hierarchy is as follows - Kubot, Przysiężny, Majchrzak, Kapaś, Koniusz, Panfil. Przysiężny will play Bogota 250, and confirmed on Tuesday that he will not appear in Poznań, Kubot's chances of being here are "50/50" according to Tournament Director, and Majchrzak will get it for 100%. So, it seems Kapaś and Koniusz will get it too, and last one will be either for Kubot or Panfil, pending Kubot's decision.

In last years one WC was for U-21 Polish Championships winner, this time champion or runner-up will get invitation, but only for qualifying draw. Also Zieliński, Gresk and winner/runner-up of Wojciech Fibak Junior Tournament are to participate in qualies as WCs. Doubles WC are going to Majchrzak/Zieliński, Kowalczyk/Smoła and Kapaś/Koniusz teams, if they will not meet the cut-off.

Also, there are real chances that from next year there will be night sessions on centre court, starting at 8pm - one singles and one doubles match. Total cost of preparing that is in excess of 250 000 PLN and there are long term plans of adding two outdoor courts, building tennis hall, as well as increase centre court capacity to at least 2 000 permament places (now is a little less than 1 500 + around 200 at temporary stand)

5 WC? Someone's for QD?
See also discussion on page 1
No, it's bullshit found on some ill-informed Polish media. There WON'T be 5 WC. As I said - three are certain, fourth goes to either Kubot or Panfil.
